Award Winning Innovation

Here at CJ Wildlife we are very proud of our heritage in bringing innovative products to market. It is in our blood and something we never get bored of or complacent about.

Of course it is always very special to have this recognised by our industry peers too though!

Below are just a few of our most recent successes in industry awards.

2024 GLEE New Product of the Year: Garden Bird and Wildlife Category

Our Cork Weighted Peanut Butter Feeders are designed so that only small birds can reach our delicious peanut butter using the weighted perch. When a small bird lands on the perch, it doesn’t move, so the bird can easily access the food. When large birds or squirrels land on the perch, it tilts away from the feeder making it very difficult for them to reach the food inside.

The judges at the 2024 GLEE event (Garden, Leisure, Equipment Exhibition) loved this product so much that they awarded it best in category. It is available in a wall-mounted, hanging and pole-mounted version to give consumers maximum choice and flexibility.

GLEE is the UK's leading garden and outdoor living trade show, hosting the most exciting brands, innovative products and inspiring garden retail insights. Founded in 1974, it has since become the go-to destination across eight sectors: Food and grill, garden care, home, gift and clothing, landscaping and garden decoration, outdoor entertaining, PAW, and retail experience.

2023 GIMA (Garden Industry Manufacturers Association) Awards: Pet Care, Aquatics & Wild Bird Care Category

In collaboration with the National Trust, we developed this range of vibrant, fun, and easy-to-use wildlife products for kids, including bird feeders, foods, and build-your-own kits!

The aim of this range was to inspire children to connect with and develop a lifelong love of nature. The judges at the prestigious GIMA awards agreed it does this and more!

GIMA is a membership organisation of around 170 companies representing the majority share of suppliers and manufacturers operating within the UK gardening industry, together with an estimated £4billion in annual trade. GIMA’s goal is to promote the commercial, trading and industrial interests of its UK and EU-based members supplying the UK garden retail industry.
